Rule 14
Water distribution can be stopped

(1) The office can stop the water distribution from the consumer's tap in the following cases:-
(a) If a consumer does not pay the remaining fees and additional charges within the time limit as per Clause (b) of Rule 13, (b) If he consumes water without connecting the tap or showing less consumption of water if a pipe or meter is connected to the tap If purposefully doing any kind of unwanted work on meter or pipe,
(c) If water is allowed to go to waste without proper maintenance and repair of main line to meter pipe owned by the office,
(d) if the consumer pumps water using any device from the pipe line in front of the water tank,
(e) If the meter is not installed when the meter is available.
(2) In case the water distribution is stopped as per sub-rule (1), water will not be distributed again until the remaining fees and additional charges are paid or the amount of the loss caused to the office due to the failure to install the meter or pipe or to do unwanted work on the meter is paid.
